An acute condition is characterized by a rapid onset followed by a short, severe course. Dr. De Brine will begin care for this type of condition with relief treatment – an intensive phase in which she aims to alleviate any pain or discomfort.

This will be followed by a rehabilitative phase in which she will correct the Vertebral Subluxation Complex (the collective term for all malfunctioning spinal misalignments).

Once pain and discomfort are alleviated and spinal function has been restored by the combined efforts of exercise, diet, and a balanced nervous system, the patient will enter the wellness phase of treatment. This phase will consist of adjustments approximately once a month, aimed at maintaining optimal spinal functioning.
